No. The score lives only in your browser on the device you’re tapping on (see the privacy notice) — it never reaches a server. Whoever is keeping score should use a single device.

No — the score is saved to your browser’s local storage after every tap, so it’s still there when you reopen this page on the same device and browser. Clearing your browser data, using a private/incognito window, or switching devices resets it.

So that nothing can be changed by accident mid-match. You enter the team names, half length, and timeout count and length on the setup screen, check them, then tap "Start match" — from that moment those settings are locked and the scoreboard is in live mode. It means a stray tap during a match can’t quietly halve the half length or hand a team an extra timeout.

Not without resetting. Team names are part of the locked setup, so fix a typo before tapping "Start match". If you have to change one mid-match, tap "Reset match & edit setup" — but that clears the score too, so note it down first.

Tap "Reset match & edit setup" and confirm. That clears the score, the clock and the timeouts and drops you back on the setup screen with the previous match’s settings still filled in, ready to adjust for the next one. There’s no undo, so only use it once the previous match’s result is recorded.

No. Setup entries are saved as you type, exactly like the score is during a match, so reopening the page on the same device and browser brings back what you had entered.

Tap "Next half →" when the first half ends. Goals you tap after that count toward the second half, and the total above adds both halves together. The breakdown table shows each half’s score separately, and it’s included in the copied final-score summary. The button disables itself after the second half — there’s no extra time or penalty-shootout tracking in this version.

It now has an optional game clock and timeouts (below), but still no card tracking or per-player stats — deliberately not a full match-officiating tool.

Set the half length in minutes on the setup screen, then tap "Start" to count down; "Pause" stops it, and it keeps the time you paused at. It’s a plain countdown — nothing happens automatically when it reaches 0:00, and it doesn’t advance the half for you. Tapping "Next half →" resets the clock to the full half length and pauses it, ready for you to start the second half yourself.

Set how many timeouts each team gets and how long each one lasts on the setup screen, then during the match tap "Timeout" under a team to start theirs — it automatically pauses the game clock. The timeout counts down on its own; when it ends, the game clock stays paused until you tap "Start" again. Only one team’s timeout can run at a time. Timeout usage carries across halves and can’t be topped up mid-match — resetting the match is the only thing that gives them back. Regulation football has no timeouts, so this defaults to 0 per team; set it above 0 only if your competition uses them.
